Found no Power LED on boiler control Verified voltage to the board. Checked for any open switches/LWCO etc. none. Made estimate for replacing board. Mike agreed. Board is ordered from US supply to be shipped to the Coatesville US supply. NOTE: ADD a 3A fuse on low voltage side when we go back to replace board. We will return to replace board ASAP.
Performed Precision peco heat pump tune up on arcoaire 2007 r-22 heat pump system. Checked 20 x 25 x 1“ air filter OK. checked operation of emergency heat. Found evaporator coil very rusted and corroded. Performed leak search with leak detector across evaporator coil and showed homeowner found that evaporator coil was leaking or 22 refrigerant. Check temperature rise and found it to be low only 13° temperature rise. checked our 22 refrigerant pressures at outdoor unit and found them to be 155/34 psi. Explain to homeowner that we do not charge r-22 systems anymore. Also found some bacterial growth inside the air handler. Provided at UV Air purifier estimate. Recommended replacement of r-22 system. . Homeowner to call us when they make their decision.
Reviewed home for improvements recommended by peco when assessment was performed. Spoke with Todd, audit was completed in 2018 and work was completed in the past. Discussed heat pump options, better thermostat options for control of system backup heat. Will provide a proposal for 2 door sweeps and crawlspace wall insulation.
