Customer called in for no heat thermostat blank upon arrival. Found thermostat blank and pump running nonstop. Vinyl tubing froze on the outside. Run new vinyl tubing to inside drain used barb fitting and about 20 feet of vinyl tubing. Test operation ok test furnace and pump no other issues found. No charge warranty. Repairs were done during today’s visit. No need to come back for next appointment.

David called in for outdoor heat pump not running thermostat states auxiliary heat running for a long time. Check outdoor unit operation upon arrival found manual high pressure switch open. Reset switch and checked operation unit went on defrost notice liquid line temperature exceeding over 120° connected my gauges and noticed that when unit is on defrost high side goes up to 500 psi without outside fan motor running during defrost. Eventually unit came off defrost and went back to heating normally check. Refrigerant levels and pressures on heating mode for over 25 minutes pressure was stable, supply and return temperature 21° split. 66/87. Check air conditioning pressures mode without fan motor running in cool mode. Could See high side increasing 500 psi. Outdoor temp is 27 degree Fahrenheit. Whenever the unit is running on defrost and especially it’s running over 5 or 7 minutes unit trip on high-pressure. I will talk to manager about this issue.

Replaced furnace, built transition between furnace and coil. Added AA 413 to return drop. Added Apco UV light. Re piped drains and gas line, converted to lp , tested out, cleaned work area

Perform precision heat tuneup on 2008 air ease propane, gas furnace. Replace 16 x 25 x 1“ air filter. Checked all electrical connections. I components. Found thermostat buttons were failing on thermostat. Recommended replacing with Honeywell T6 thermostat. Installed thermostat clean flame sensor. Inspected heat exchanger and found it to be pretty rusted and corroded. Recommended replacement of gas furnace. Homeowner plans on moving in the next couple of months. Also found burners rusty. Check resistance of hot surface igniter. Perform combustion test. Gas furnace is working at time of inspection.

Performed tune up on Amana gas furnace, tested unit in heating mode and tested combustion as well as gas pressures and temperature split. Checked heat exchanger and cleaned and checked flame sensor, tested hot surface igniter and blower and inducer motor, no issues with unit at this time.
