You must ensure the new heater is the correct size to heat your house in Kennett, PA, properly. Our contractors recommend using the below list to give you an idea of what factors go into determining what size is right for your home:

  • The total floor area of your home.

  • How much sun your house gets, as well as how much shade.

Is a heater installation not in your budget? Contact us to learn about our financing options.

What to Expect During Heat Pump Installations

When you schedule heat pump installations or replacements, it’s essential to know what to expect from the services. Some tasks our heating contractors at DiBiase Heating and Cooling Company will perform at your house include:

  • An assessment of the space in which the heat pump will be installed and the areas impacted by the installations.
  • Next, they will prepare the work area by bringing in their tools and ensuring the space is secure and safe.
  • If you have an existing heating system, they will first remove this.
  • Then, the next system will be brought in. They will install both the indoor and outdoor units.
  • Once the system is in place, the refrigerant lines and electrical connections will be installed.
  • Before leaving, the experts will test the system to ensure it works properly. They will also educate you on how to use the system and signs to watch for that can indicate it is malfunctioning.
  • They will clean up before leaving your house!
  • The unit might be inspected later to ensure it is installed correctly and is up to code.
