Performed steam gas boiler cleaning/tune up. Check electrical low and high voltage connections and components, clean all burners inspect heat exchanger performed combustion test ok. Check draft test low water cut out and feeder ok. Cycle steam boiler. Provided estimate for recommendations on boiler customer approved Replacement of sight glass and hardware, hard pipe gas line and removed flexible gas line. Also replacement of 1/2 gate valve. Customer paid 50% for repairs. Office to follow up with customer to schedule return visit.
Fully assessed no cooling situation. checked voltage going to system, found voltage to be 213 V. Transformer tapping was on 240 V. And was only getting 23.5 V on secondary side. Moved tapping from 240 to 208v have 26 V on secondary side. Ran system and cooling mode for a while. Everything was running correctly. Suction pressure was 102 64°F. Kit system in heating mode and system code 3 pressure switch code. Found that when Wayne‘s assistant replaced control board, he put the power wire to the inducer motor on the capacitor and not on the terminal, switched wiring to correctly. System is working in heating and cooling mode and is working fine at time of service.
Ran pacakage unit in both heating and cooling. A/c suction pressure was about 103. And a 25 degree temperature split. Wayne stated that this system would only run for 90 seconds in a/c mode the shut off. Checked secondary voltage on transformer and was only 22 v. Changed primary from 240 v to 208v. Now secondary voltage is 26v system is coming on consistently in heating and cooling. System is working fine at time of service.
Performed gas heat tune up, on Lennox 80% gas furnace. Check electrical low and high voltage connections and components. Inspect filter ok customer uses carbon filter 16x25x5. Performed combustion test and heater check supply and return air temps ok check static pressure ok clean sensor and burners ok inspect igniter. Amp draw on motor and inducer test first and second stage ok. Current system doesn’t have surge protection, also no bacteria protection on coil. There is some bacteria growth inside indoor coil took photo. Cycle heater ok. Provided estimate for recommendations. System id from 2010. average life is between 10 to 14 years. Customer should start preparing for upgrade soon.

Installed new heat pump trane with 10kw heat kit. 413 filter . Installed new condensate and drain tubing . Wired and tested. Charged system to standards. Replaced line set.

Took indoor heat temp rise and tested for combustion. everything is in good working order at this time of service. Check the air filters and replaced if needed . Checked the wiring connections and the voltages. Checked the fan operation and set up on equipment. Checked and inspected the condensate pump and the furnace trap. Checked the gas pressures for high and low fire and inspected the safeties. Checked the blower and inducer amps and looked at system static. Checked and inspected the flue pipe and tested for combustion . Checked The h
arrived for no heat on a boiler. I talked with Bill. He turned the thermostat on and the breaker and unit would not fire up for a call from the thermostat at the boiler had no 24 V I checked the thermostat found a broken wire I fixed the wire and turned the system back on and everything started. Everything is working fine at this time of service.
Replacement of gas valve for water heater, gas valve will be provided by AO smith not labor. Also replacement of 1/2 gas cock for water heater. Check gas and water connections after repairs ok no leaks. Relight water heater and test operation ok set water heater temp set to A in thermostat.
Installation of air purifier, ez trap and surge protection for indoor fan more and outdoor fan motor. Installed new transformer to feed air purification system. Cycle unit couple times test ex trap and pump ok. Performed tune up during today’s visit. Check electrical low and high voltage connections and components ok filter ok. Check supply and return airflow ok. Gas pressure low and high ok performed combustion test ok cycle heater ok.
Recovered all refrigerant from package unit. Cut out and removed old coil cut all three capillary tubes. Removed all electric panel from package unit. Installed new coil and reassembled brackets and electric. Braised in suction line and all three capillary tubes. Soap checked and pressure tested at 310 psi nitrogen. Vacuum system down to 500 µm. 4 lbs. 8 oz. of our 410 a refrigerant. Tested operation. Refrigerant pressures were 243/115. Also cycled system in gas heat mode. Everything came on package. Unit is working fine again at time of service.
not hot water from atmospheric water heater AO Smith. Tried to light water heater thermostat showing 4 flashes. Pilot is lit but no operation from gas valve. Look at troubleshooting guide and new gas valve is required. Water heater is from 2020 has 6 year tank and parts warranty. Customer will receive parts from manufacturer he will call us back when part has arrived. Emailed estimate for repairs. Case number 18274940 Ao smith.
Condensing gas boiler not working. Talked to customer upon arrival. Other company looked over and told them board needed to get replaced. Customer replaced its own board and still not working. Checked operation and follow troubleshooting grudge from boiler literature. Gas valve won’t open. Check voltage to valve and is only getting 12 volts. Check voltage at the valve and also coming off the harness at the board. No change 12 Volts. Boiler needs new control module.
Fully assessed no cooling situation. Took apart panels off package unit and found refrigerant oil at evaporator coil. Used electronic leak detector to confirm. Took video of leak search. Need to order new evaporator coil for magic pack package unit and replace. Our office to order and determine ETA. At this time maintenance charged up system and is working.
Performed ac tune up on Rheem 3.5 ton unit. Check electrical low and high voltage connections and components. Replace 413 filter. Flush and test pump ok airflow 17 degree split. Inspect blower and board. Ok noticed current up light bulb is out and needs replacement. Provided estimate for options on uv light. went outside and checked outdoor unit refrigerant levels and pressures capacitor and contractor ok. Cycle ac unit ok. Went over check list with customer and explained about red and yellow tabs on list. No surge protection, no drain line protection (it does have water sensor). Emailed all estimates over to customer.
Arrived to the customers home to add charge to his leaking system . Added 2 pounds of 410A charged by superheat subcooling. Collected for my balance of 325.00. Paid by cc.

Performed a QA on a heat pump system. Took photos of the equipment and looked at the overall install of the indoor unit and the outdoor heat pump. Looked at the wiring connections and the voltages. Inspected the drain lines and tested the gravity condensation line. Inspected the air filter. Looked at temp splits for the system . Outside unit checked the disconnect and the outdoor unit level and made sure all connections are sealed and wiring was completed in a neatly fashion. Refrigerant Charge was good and checked compressor and fan amp draws. New equipment is working fine at this time of service
Arrived at the customer’s home to perform a filter dryer replacement and recheck for leaks. Opened the outdoor unit and conducted a leak search before installing the dryer to confirm if other leaks were present. The meter indicated a leak at the bottom corner of the outdoor coil, which was confirmed with a UV light showing dye. The leak detector confirmed the outdoor coil had a leak. The system, installed less than a year ago by another company, requires further action with Amana. The customer was billed $247.70 for the leak search, but refused to pay and requested compensation for missed work.
Found no surge protection on blower motor, installed ecm surge protection. Performed precision, gas furnace tuneup on Amana gas furnace. April air or 13 air filter is clean. Checked all electrical connections and components checked temperature rise. Check gas pressure. Clean flame sensor. Tested condensate pump. Performed combustion test. Gas furnace is working fine at time of service.
Found fire damper, sprung shut and not accessible from access panel and supply Plenum. Removed central return grill and cut hole through return trunk. Then cut away insulation at supply platinum and cut hole large enough to remove damper. Unscrewed damper from inside of supply plenum, and removed damper from openings. Re-patched ductwork with sheet metal screws and silver tape and re-insulated at supply plenum . Checked refrigerant pressures and temperature split after getting system back in operation. Suction pressure was 120 psi. Temperature split was 26°. System is working fine again at time of service. .
