Tech found system low on refrigerant based on low suction and high superheat with a piston. The only leak present was at the suction Schrader valve. Tech verified valve was leaking even with the cap on. Valve gas no seal. Tech also recommended installing a low ambient control due to system running ac mode even when it’s cold outside. Tech recharged system, replaced valve and cap and system is operating properly at this time. Office will have to send estimate for low ambient control.
