Upon arrival tech was informed thermostat did not have a display and was not coming on. Inspected system and found 240v at system, 24v at system across board and at the thermostat. Tech changed batteries to see if it would bring display back on and it did. Turned the system to heat mode and system came on and started heating. Temperature reading with heat pump and heat strips running is reading low due to a Freon issue found at a previous visit. Tech informed homeowner and stated we could reconfirm leak if they would like and declined on leak search. Homeowner said they will reach out to field supervisor that previously quoted and get an updated price. System is back operational but not heating and full capacity.

Tech performed esa on heil package heat pump. Found no challenges on todays visit.

Tech found system using heat strips more often than it should. Tech informed homeowner of findings and told homeowner this is because of the leak in evap coil that wasn’t repaired. Homeowner has been left with proposal of new system in prior visit.
