- Serviced both Carrier split system heat pumps per service agreement. Observed no challenges during this visit. - Replaced (2) 20x25x1 air filters and provided 2 extra filters. - Confirmed defrost and heat strip operation. Both systems are operating normally at this time.

Tech performed PTU on Goodman split. Customer stated air handler started making thump noise on cut off. Air handler data tag has faded and can’t see if blower is over amping. Unit did stop maki; thump nose after cleaning coils and changing filter. Unit is heating with a delta T of 27.

Tech washed and serviced unit per service agreement, tech found no challenges at today’s visit, the system is back up and running and holding a delta t of 20+ degrees, customer changes own filters

- Tech found 40A heat strip breaker tripped due to being undersized upon arrival. Customer opted to replace breaker themselves. Recommended upsizing to a 60A breaker. - Confirmed defrost operation. - Recommended premium service agreement; customer will speak with husband and contact office with decision. Thermostat turned off.

Upon arrival tech was informed downstairs system was thermostat was blank. Inspected system and found the air handler had 240v and 24v on board. Checked at pigtail with ezt226 and did not have 24v. Inspected safety switch and found it to be sitting slightly off and causing the plunger to raise and the thermostat to go blank. Tech adjusted switch and system came back on. System is back operational at this time.

Both air handlers call for 30 amp max fuse/breaker and that is what’s there. Downstairs condenser calls for 14 to 25 amp and has a 20 amp breaker. Upstairs calls for 25 to 40 amp and has a 35 amp breaker.

Tech found coil was freezing due to low refrigerant based off high superheat with a piston. Tech leak searched system thoroughly and found a leak at the evaporator coil schrader valve that likely occurred during install. Tech replaced valve and recharged system.

- Customer informed tech that there were challenges with air volume produced by the downstairs system upon arrival. Customer stated the issue was noticed the night prior to this visit. - Tech found fan speed set to its lowest setting on blower control board and evaporator coil partially frozen due to lack of air flow. Tech updated fan speed to its high setting and confirmed proper operation and capacitor MFD rating, reading 10.4/10. - Advised customer that tech could de-ice the coil and check operating refrigerant charge for an additional fee. Customer informed tech that the system was operating satisfactorily prior to this visit and a manual de-icing would not be needed during this visit. Tech left power off to downstairs condenser at disconnect and advised customer to restore power after approximately 3 hours of fan run time. Recommended a premium service agreement. Customer will contact office with their decision.

Tech performed maintenance per energy savings agreement. Tech suggest adding plasma pure air to system homeowner interested maybe at a later time just bought new unit at other property.
