Thermostat was off upon arrival, tech detected the roll out switch tripped, as tech reset the switch, the thermostat came back on. Tech checked the flames and found them dancing around bad and rolling back. Tech checked the heat exchanger for cracks and found no visible cracks on the tubes as far as tech was able to see, but did find 2 cracks in the firewall on where the flames roll back the most, gas outlet pressure was set to 11.4 and needs to be on 10.5. Heat exchanger exhaust is full of soot prior to previous tech arriving. Tech recommended to replace the heat exchanger due to the 2 cracks found on the fire wall or have a field supervisor provide a better solution. Customer only approved the system test operation for today and received approval from our office to allow payments for today’s visit. System is down until the homeowner decides what he wants to do and also if our office can work a payment option for him as well.

Found the condenser fan blades frozen due to ice build up, tech removed the ice obstacles and fan started operating. Tech checked the electric heat and found a common wire loose from the terminal block. As wired was secured back in place and electric heat engaged, supply temperature of 115 degrees. Tech educated the homeowner about our maintenance plan and decided to approved the repairs for today and declined our maintenance plans for now. System is back heating.

Tech found a melted service disconnect which caused the burning smell. Tech replaced the service disconnect and operated the system in heat afterwards, tech did informed the homeowner that the smell should go away slowly as the system operates. Customer is a worry free warranty member. System is back heating. System less than 2 years old.

(2024 Goodman Gas Pack) - Customer informed tech of power outage and stated that the Vision Pro thermostat is displaying alert for Wi-Fi connectivity. - Tech dismissed alert per customer request and confirmed proper operation. No charge under contractor warranty.

Tech performed service on miller & goodman split systems. Upon arrival, found outside condenser to not have power. Found breaker to be tripped. As tech turned on breaker, unit did not run and tripping breaker. Found shorted compressor. Tech called in office and spoke with gina for mandatory. Delta t is within specification at this time and customer is satisfied with today’s service. Found no other challenges at todays visit.

Upon arrival tech was informed that system was heating but electric bill was high for last month. Homeowner also informed tech that they were not sure on how to operate the thermostat and that it was set to 78 on heat a few weeks ago. Tech confirmed that thermostat is not following a schedule. Checked programming and changed backup heat option to 1 stage and electric. Tech also noticed filter was a littler dirty and customer provided one to change. Temps are within a good range. Tech explained operation of thermostat and set to temperature set points homeowner wanted. System is operating normally.

Check toilet and ever fixer in house for leak above and under house found small drain on main shut of under house repair that but meter still spinning. Turn off shut of under house when back to meter it still spinning.... it has to be very small leak but to find it will require dig up whole water line we don’t do whole water line replacement

Tech arrived and found blower running but heat pump would not come on, tech had call to condenser but contactor would not pull in due to tripped low pressure switch. Tech found system void of r22 refrigerant and called for field supervisor. Mike is on site. Tech set thermostat to emergency heat to allow heat strips to run until solution can be made. Tech informed customer that ac will not work.
