When maintenance workers at the Lincolnshire, IL public library discovered a leaking drain on the roof, they weren’t quite sure how to proceed. Knowing they had a problem on their hands, they called Chicagoland’s trenchless experts, Trenchless Innovations, for help.
After investigating, Trenchless Innovations found that the area where the pipe was located was difficult to access, as it was located on the roof of the library. Using a scissor jack to load supplies onto the roof, our team cut and prepared the liner while on the roof and lined the pipe using a special resin that cures within a two hour period.
By lunchtime, the curing process was complete, the new liner was in place and the problem had been solved. Had the library not called Trenchless Innovations, they faced thousands of dollars in repair costs, from accessing the pipe to repairing it.
