Why should I line my pipes instead of replacing them?

Will lining cause a reduction in flow rate through my pipes?

No. Lining your sewer will actually make the water flow more efficiently through your pipes as the liner restores broken and deteriorated pipe by creating a smoother surface for the water to travel through.

How much does sewer lining cost?

The cost of lining depends on factors such as the length of line to be repaired and the size and accessibility of the pipes. In most cases, our sewer lining costs are considerably less than traditional dig and replace repair methods because the costs to restore surroundings after digging are eliminated.

Does sewer lining have to meet any certain standards?

Yes. Our lining product meets or exceeds all ASTM standards for pipe lining

What is the life expectancy of the liner?

Our liner is long lasting and we provide a 50-year warranty on it.

How long can I expect to be without service during the installation process?

You will be able to use your facilities until just before the liner is installed in the sewer line. The installation and curing process typically takes between 3-4 hours. Once the curing process is complete and the installation is verified by our cameras, you’re able to immediately use your facilities once again.

What types of pipes can be lined?

Most any type of pipe can be lined, including clay, cast iron, PVC, ductile iron and concrete.

Is it possible to install the liner through an existing stack or cleanout?

Yes, the liner can be installed through a four-inch floor cleanout or other existing outside cleanout

Can a pipe with holes or missing pieces still be lined without digging?

Yes, even pipes with large holes or voids can be lined without the need to dig.

Is it possible to perform spot repairs anywhere in the sewer line instead of lining my entire sewer?

My sewer line transitions from 4" cast iron to 6" clay piping. Is lining possible?

Our lining system and materials allow us to make a seamless transition between 4” and 6” connections without any additional set-ups.

Can a sewer with multiple elbows be lined?

Yes. Our liner is flexible and therefore, can make multiple bends.

Low Airflow in Your Home - Trenchless Innovations

Low airflow is a common complaint we hear from our customers regarding their underground air ducts. Depending on the type of duct system you have in your home (overhead vs. underground) and factors related to your system, airflow issues can be quite common.

Low airflow can have several different causes, including:

Dirty furnace filter. Here at Trenchless Innovations, we recommend changing your furnace filter every 30 days. Dirty or clogged filters restrict airflow through the filter, therefore, causing rooms to take longer to heat or cool.
Wrongly rated furnace filter. All furnace filters are rated on a scale referred to as MERV (minimum efficiency reporting value). Rated from 1 to 16, the higher the rating, the greater the particles captured by the filter. Using a filter too highly rated for your furnace makes it inefficient and reduces airflow throughout your home.
Crushed, blocked, improperly installed or disconnected duct runs. The absence of airflow through registers could mean the underground air ducts are crushed or collapsed. We recommend an underground air duct camera inspection to confirm.
Duct leakage. Another common cause of low airflow is duct leakage. When air escapes through small holes and cracks in the duct pipes, the system does not run as efficiently.
Not enough home air return vents. Each room in your home should have at least one return air vent, with larger rooms having more. If you notice some rooms with hot or cold spots, this could be what is happening. Having the proper amount of return air vents in your home creates consistent air pressure and therefore, even heating and cooling in each room.
Undersized vents or oversized ductwork. If your vents are too small for your home, the ducts will be unable to carry the necessary volume of air through them. If your ductwork is too large for your system, your system will have to work harder to push air through the ducts, leading to system inefficiencies and therefore, little or no airflow.
