I conducted a thorough rejuvenation of the AC system, which involved comprehensive cleaning and testing of the unit. The system was meticulously inspected, and all components were evaluated for performance and efficiency. The condensate drain inside the unit is not accessible for cleaning, which could potentially lead to future issues. I informed the customer about the repair options available to address this concern. Despite the unit being older than its projected lifespan, it remains in decent condition. No proactive repairs are currently needed, but regular maintenance is recommended to ensure continued optimal performance.
Completed comfort call and attic space inspection. Documented current storage conditions in accessible attic crawl space with sloped ceilings and exposed wooden framing. Photographed existing layout including stored items, household belongings, and various containers throughout the space. Verified adequate lighting and structural accessibility. White flexible ductwork observed running through storage area with no visible obstructions or damage noted at time of inspection.
Upon inspection, the air conditioning system's compressor was struggling to start. I examined the windings for any open circuits and ensured the compressor was not grounded. Unfortunately, the compressor is locked up and unresponsive, even with voltage and hard start components applied. I recommended scheduling a visit from a comfort advisor to further diagnose and address the issue.
We conducted a thorough air conditioning system cleaning and inspection. This included cleaning the evaporator and condenser coils and unit cabinets to ensure optimal airflow and efficiency. All wiring and electrical connections were inspected and found secure. The condensate drains and safety controls were tested and verified. The system operated smoothly in both cooling and heating modes. A blocked drain line due to bacterial growth was addressed, and recommendations for future maintenance were provided.
Upon inspection, I identified that the air conditioning system was not functioning optimally due to issues with its air movement components. After a thorough examination, I managed to restore the system to its proper working condition. However, I cannot assure that the problem has been completely resolved. To address the underlying issue and ensure long-term functionality, I provided an estimate for necessary repairs. The customer has decided to wait until the issue reoccurs before making any decisions about the repairs. I ensured that the system is currently running efficiently, but I emphasized the importance of addressing the problem to prevent future disruptions.
I conducted a comprehensive maintenance check on the AC components of a LP furnace. The Delta T was recorded at 20 degrees. Despite the homeowner's recent filter change, I verified its cleanliness. Voltages and amps were confirmed to be within acceptable ranges. The indoor unit was meticulously cleaned, including the indoor coil drain pan. A level one blower cleaning was executed, and I suggest a drain pan treatment for the indoor coil drain pan. The outdoor unit operated smoothly in AC mode, with voltages and amps also within range. The electrical panel was cleared of any bugs and cobwebs, and the outdoor coil was left unsprayed due to the absence of debris in the fins.
Was able to educate me a bit more on my mini split unit. Very helpful.
Upon arrival, I assessed the train room's cooling system, which was not functioning properly. I began by examining the remote control for any error codes, but none were present. The system was in auto mode with a high temperature setting. Further investigation revealed that the remote buttons were stuck and sending mixed signals. I provided the customer with detailed instructions on how the system operates, emphasizing the importance of keeping the fan in auto mode to ensure it turns on and off with temperature changes. The AC system was operating normally, and no charges were applied. The job was completed successfully.
Recently, I completed a comprehensive home service that involved a thorough inspection and repair of the central heating system. I began by assessing the current condition of the furnace and air conditioning unit, identifying any potential issues. I then proceeded to clean and service the HVAC components, ensuring optimal performance. Additionally, I replaced any worn-out parts and calibrated the thermostat for energy efficiency. Throughout the process, I maintained clear communication with the client, explaining each step and the importance of the repairs. The final result was a fully functional and efficient heating and cooling system.
I successfully assisted Amanda with her club renewal process. This involved verifying her current membership status, ensuring all necessary documentation was up-to-date, and confirming her eligibility for renewal. I guided her through the online renewal portal, helping her navigate any technical difficulties. Additionally, I reviewed and updated her personal information to reflect any recent changes. I also informed her about the benefits of her membership and any upcoming events or activities she might be interested in. The process was completed efficiently, and Amanda was pleased with the seamless renewal experience.
During the service, I thoroughly inspected the furnace and coil located downstairs. I cleaned the drain to ensure proper drainage and unobstructed airflow. Upon examining the blower wheel, I discovered a buildup that will require attention during the fall maintenance once the renovations are complete. To address this issue in the interim, I recommended installing a pleated filter to maintain optimal air quality while the renovations are ongoing. Additionally, I verified all electrical connections, confirming they were secure and functioning correctly. I tested the system in both heating and cooling modes, and all outdoor unit pressures, amps, and meg readings were within acceptable limits.
During the AC inspection, the Delta T reached 14 degrees, below the manufacturer's 20-degree specification. The filter was installed incorrectly, which was corrected, and the homeowner was informed. Voltages and amps for both indoor and outdoor units were within range. The outdoor unit operated in cooling mode, but low and high-side pressures indicated a potential leak. A leak search is recommended, with repairs to be charged separately. Refrigerant was not added today. The platinum plan offers twice-yearly tune-ups, discounted repairs, and optional IAQs for $395.40 annually.
I assisted a customer in enrolling in a plan with Amanda, which included two additional wall unit options. I guided the customer through the selection process, ensuring they understood the benefits and features of each unit. I provided detailed explanations and answered any questions they had, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory experience. The customer was satisfied with their choices and the overall process.
I conducted a comprehensive AC rejuvenation on a Goodman system, thoroughly inspecting all indoor and outdoor components. Although the system is operational, efficiency is suboptimal. The air movement components require additional focus, and I recommend a thorough cleaning to enhance performance. The current air filter is impeding airflow, which I addressed in my recommendations. Additionally, the outdoor condensing unit's voltage enhancement system is below the manufacturer's specifications. I informed the customer of these findings and presented options based on our review.
